Incident Summary:
12/19/2019: Assailants attacked security positions in Hays district, Al Hudaydah, Yemen. This was one of four related attacks in the area on this date. At least 13 assailants were killed and 67 assailants were injured across the ensuing clashes, which lasted until December 21, 2019. The security forces sustained an unknown number of casualties. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Houthi extremists (Ansar Allah).

Successful Attack
Success of a terrorist strike is defined according to the tangible effects of the attack.
