Incident Summary:

12/24/2019: Assailants raided a predominantly Christian town and set fire to a school in Kwarangulum, Chibok, Borno, Nigeria. Five people were killed, three people were injured, and five others were abducted in the attack. The outcome of the kidnapping is unknown. Al-Barnawi faction (Islamic State West Africa Province-ISWAP) of Boko Haram claimed responsibility and stated that the attack targeted Christian civilians.
