12/29/2019: Assailants attacked a pro-government militia base in Lalah Gozar, Takhar, Afghanistan. At least 27 people, including 10 assailants and 17 militia members, were killed while four militia members were injured in the ensuing clash. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the incident.
