12/31/2019: Assailants ambushed a security force convoy in Bandar, Takhar, Afghanistan. At least 18 people, including 11 assailants, four police officers, and three soldiers ,were killed and seven others, including five assailants, were injured in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Taliban.
