03/23/2020: Assailants attacked an army base on Boma island in Boguma, Lac, Chad. At least 98 soldiers were killed and 41 soldiers were injured in the attack. The assailants sustained an unknown number of casualties. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Shekau faction of Boko Haram.
