Incident Summary:

04/19/2020: Assailants abducted SPO Adil Bashir Bhat from his house in Tangbal, Jammu and Kashmir, India. The assailants beat Bhat with rifles before releasing him several hours later. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) and stated that the assailants threatened the victim to quit his job as a police officer.
