04/30/2020: An explosive device detonated near the vehicle of Mohammad Ismail Azizi, the National Directorate of Security district head, in Sorkh Doz, Helmand, Afghanistan. Two people, including Azizi and a bodyguard, were killed and two other security force members were injured in the blast. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Taliban.
