05/18/2020: An explosive device detonated near a Frontier Corps (FC) convoy assigned to protect an oil and gas facility in Pir Ghaib, Bolan district, Balochistan, Pakistan. At least six soldiers were killed and four other soldiers were injured in the blast. The United Baloch Army (UBA) and the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) separately claimed responsibility for the attack.

Criteria 1
The act must be aimed at attaining a political, economic, religious, or social goal. In terms of economic goals, the exclusive pursuit of profit does not satisfy this criterion. It must involve the pursuit of more profound, systemic economic change.
