07/23/2020: Assailants threw an explosive device at the Hazrat Shahjalal (R) shrine in Sylhet, Bangladesh. There were no reported casualties as the device failed to detonate. Jama'atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) claimed responsibility for the attack when regional commander Sheikh Sultan Mohammad Naimuzzaman confessed that the organization plotted the incident.
