08/13/2020: Assailants abducted nine people working for a vaccination campaign and voter registration operation in Mboki, Haut-Mbomou, Central African Republic. The hostages were released on August 15, 2020. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Union for Peace in Central Africa (UPC).
