08/15/2020: Assailants abducted Isa Mai Buba, a village head, in Mashio, Yobe, Nigeria. Buba was released on August 18, 2020. No casualties were reported. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources suspected the involvement of Boko Haram.
