08/18/2020: Assailants attacked a military base in Gajibo, Borno, Nigeria. At least five soldiers were killed and an unknown number were injured in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Al-Barnawi faction (Islamic State West Africa Province-ISWAP) of Boko Haram.
