Incident Summary:

09/27/2020: Assailants ambushed the convoy of Umar Babagana Zulum, the governor of Borno, with an explosives-laden donkey 10 km from Baga, Borno, Nigeria. A few soldiers were injured and an unknown number of assailants were killed in the attack. This was the second attempt on the governor’s convoy this month. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Boko Haram.
