Incident Summary:

10/12/2020: Assailants attacked Malian armed forces in Socoura, Mopti, Mali. At least nine soldiers were killed and four others were injured in the attack. This was one of two attacks that occurred within 24 hours in this area. Jamaat Nusrat al-Islam wal Muslimin (JNIM) claimed responsibility for the incident.
