10/14/2020: An explosive device detonated in a civilian residence as soldiers attempted to defuse it in Merih, near Beir al-Abd, North Sinai, Egypt. At least one civilian and four military personnel were killed in the blast. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Sinai Province of the Islamic State.
