11/23/2020: Assailants attacked a ship near Ilha Quifuqui, Cabo Delgado, Mozambique. Two civilians were killed and two more people were abducted. The outcome of the kidnapping is unknown. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Ansar al-Sunna (Mozambique).
