
ICONS Associate Director & Education Program Director
Audrey Tetteh is the Associate Director and Education Program Director for the ICONS Project – a unit within the National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism (START) focused on simulation development, training, and education. She is responsible for assisting the ICONS director with strategic planning and team management. She also leads ICONS’ work with academic institutions, including curriculum development and instructional support for educators using online simulations. Prior to joining the ICONS Project in 2006, Audrey was a middle school social studies teacher where she taught geography and served as an instructional team leader. She has also worked for non-profit organizations focused on education, including the Living Classrooms Foundation and the National Peace Corps Association.
Audrey holds a B.A. in Geography and International Service from Valparaiso University. She received her M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Maryland, where her research focused on global education in social studies.
