START frequently has the opportunity to offer elective courses as a part of the University of Maryland’s Undergraduate, Global Terrorism Minor and Graduate Certificate in Terrorism Analysis.

If you are interested in teaching with us as an Adjunct Instructor, please fill out the webform below.

Please indicate the type of degree (e.g. Ph.D., M.S., or B.A.).
Please indicate in which field of study your highest degree focused.
Please provide information on any other degrees you hold or other relevant degree information.
Please let us know about any interactions you have had with START or START members (e.g. received previous funding, presented on a panel with START researchers).
Please provide a statement of your teaching interests, including what interests you about teaching for START. Please indicate if you have interest/experience in teaching online.
Please provide a description of your teaching experience.
Please list the courses you would be interested in teaching for START. Please draw from the current course offerings found on our website, but please also feel free to include a new course you would like to propose the course proposal form can be found here: http://www.start.umd.edu/webform/course-proposal-start.
Please let us know your expected availability to teach. Please indicate semester preference: Fall, Spring, Summer, and/or Winter as well as as day of the week and time of day. Additionally, feel free to include any additional comments (e.g. Are there semesters that will not be possible? Are you able to teach in-person, via distance learning technology, or both? Are you interested in being considered for weekend teaching and training opportunities?)
