Incident Summary:

02/16/1978: Unknown Puerto Rican nationalists bombed Barker's Department store in San Juan, Puerto Rico. This is one in a series of five bombings on this day within ninety minutes of each other, including one at another department store (197802160012) as well as three bombings at banks (197802160005, 197802160006, 197802160007). However, it is unknown whether all five were committed by the same perpetrators. The explosion ignited a fire at the store, causing major damage, but there were no casualties in the blast.
