08/14/1998: Four North Ossetian policemen were killed and four wounded when they were ambushed by 10 unknown perpetrators on the "Georgian Military Road" between Chmi and Verchni Lars in North Ossetia, Russia. The perpetrators fired automatic guns and grenade throwers at the policemen.
