07/02/1999: An assailant opened fire on six Asian University of Illinois students in Urbana, Illinois, United States. At least one student was injured in the assault. Benjamin Nathaniel Smith, an avowed white supremacists and member of the World Church of the Creator, carried out seven attacks over a three day period targeting minorities.
