07/05/1999: Ms. Rusen Tabanci, a 19-year-old female Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) member, detonated a bomb strapped to her body outside of a police station in Adana, Turkey. The suicide bomber was killed and seventeen others were injured in this attack. The area sustained minor damage.
