Incident Summary:

10/18/1999: At approximately 5:00 pm local time, three people were slightly injured when a bomb exploded on the second floor of a market in central Dushanbe, Tajikistan, just 150 meters (500 feet) from the Presidential Palace. Minor damage was reported in this incident. It was not known who carried out the attack and police did not rule out the possibility that this was "a settling of scores between rival gangs."
