10/22/1999: Islamic extremist Ahmed Saeed attempted to burn down a Roman Catholic Church in Lahore, Punjab Province, Pakistan. Firefighters saved the church, but several Bibles, pictures of Jesus Christ, as well as statues and furniture were destroyed in the attack.
