04/14/2000: Maoist rebels kidnapped former Minister Reg Bahadur Subedi and his son Suresh Subedi from their home in Gajul, Rolpa district, Rapti zone, Nepal. Over 200 rebels took part in the kidnapping according to reports. Reports did not indicate if and/or when the victims were released.
