Incident Summary:

09/14/2000: The Russian Military found and defused a large homemade bomb that contained nine 400g TNT charges, two 200g TNT charges, a detonator, and a timer set for 11 am on September 14, 2000. The bomb was placed in the school's lobby, several meters away from a classroom, prompting an evacuation of the school when the bomb was defused. The school was to be the setting for a local Government meeting, and it was possible that the bomb was meant to disrupt that meeting. There were no injuries. No one was arrested, and no one claimed responsibility.
