11/24/2000: Two soldiers were killed and a policeman was wounded after a homemade bomb exploded at Talouine in Kadiria, Algeria. The explosion took place as army and police patrols were combing the region in search of the source of an explosion heard the night before. It was believed that the attack was carried out by the Salafist Group for Preaching and Fighting (GSPC).
