01/08/2001: A professor at the Marmara University School of Theology in Baglarbasi, Turkey was stabbed. Authorities believed the attacker, Halil Cihan, was linked to the Great East Islamic Raiders Front (IBDA-C - Islami Buyuk Dogu Akincilar Cephesi). The professor was the only one wounded.
