Incident Summary:

01/26/2001: A bomb exploded on a bus traveling from Delhi just before it arrived at the bus station in Rishikesh, India. Seventy passengers exited from the bus moments before the bomb exploded inside the vehicle. The driver and the conductor of the bus were killed in the explosion. No group claimed responsibility for the attack, but local authorities suspected separatist rebels were behind the bombing since the attack occurred on India's Republic Day.
