Incident Summary:

08/05/2001: A lone Palestinian gunman, Ali al Jolani, attacked the Defense Ministry building in Tel Aviv, Israel in a drive-by shooting. Eight soldiers and two civilians were wounded and al Jolani was shot and later died. He was suspected of being a member of HAMAS or Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ).
