Incident Summary:

02/19/2003: During the afternoon, HAMAS launched four Qassam short-range missiles into southern Israel from the northern Gaza Strip. The four rockets landed in the town of Sderot, and wounded four Israeli civilians. After the attack, a HAMAS spokesman in an interview defended the incident by saying they were for defensive purposes only, in response to an Israeli Military raid into the Gaza Strip on the night of 02/18/2003.
