03/25/2003: Anti-American rebels fired eleven rockets at a U.S. military base in Shkin, Afghanistan, causing no injuries or damage after the rockets landed away from the base. Authorities said Taliban and other anti-American rebels had promised to increase attacks in response to a U.S. led invasion of Iraq.
