03/26/2003: Anti-American rebels fired three rockets at the U.S. military base in Gardez, Afghanistan, causing no injuries or damage after the rockets landed away from the base. Authorities said Taliban and other anti-American rebels had promised to increase attacks in response to a U.S. led invasion of Iraq.
