Incident Summary:

05/10/2003: In a series of incidents, a bomb blast in a market killed at least 9 civilians and wounded 43 in Koronadal City, Philippines. Two perpetrators were also believed to have died in the attack. Abu Sulaiman, a self-proclaimed leader of the Abu Sayyaf's special operations group operating in Central Mindanao, claimed responsibility for the attack.
