Incident Summary:

6/21/2004: The El-Forkane phalange of the Salafist Group for Preaching and Fighting (GSPC) claimed responsibility for bombing the El Hamma Power Station (a property owned by Sonelgaz and constructed by an Italian company) in Algiers, Algeria. Eleven people were wounded by the blast and the building sustained significant damage. However, the attack did not cause any electrical blackouts within the city of Algiers.
