Incident Summary:

07/19/2004: Suspected Islamic militants threw a hand grenade into a crowd of people who had gathered to listen to Deputy Chief Minister Mangat Ram Sharma speak in Dora, India. The bomb killed three people and injured between 20 and 40 others. Sharma escaped injury, but Asgar Samoon, the civil administrator for Anantnag District was injured in the explosion. No group claimed responsibility for the attack.
