Incident Summary:

11/01/2004: Hatem Kamil Abdul Fatah, the Deputy Governor of Baghdad, was killed in a drive-by shooting in Baghdad, Iraq. The perpetrators rammed into victim's car as it passed a mosque. Two bodyguards were wounded in the attack as well. A militant group calling itself the Jaish Ansar al-Sunna (Army of the Protectors of the Sunna)claimed responsibility for the incident on their website.
