02/10/2006: Unknown gunmen shot and killed Hindu religious leader Sant Gyaneshwar and at least five of his disciples near a gas station in Uttar Pradesh's Allahadbad, India. Five others were injured in the attack. There was no claim of responsibility and police named no motive.
