Incident Summary:

04/11/2006: FARC guerrillas are being blamed for abducting the top Telecom official in Arauca Department, Edgar Ignacio Torres, as he was travelling to Arauca City, Colombia, after having attended a meeting in Saravena, Colombia when the vehicle in which he was riding was stopped along the highway. The abductors took Torres and a local businessman that was travelling with him.
