11/20/2006: Shi i Deputy Health Minister Hakim al-Zamili escaped an assassination attempt by an unknown number of gunmen. Two of his body guards were killed when the gunmen opened fire on the convoy moving through downtown Baghdad, Iraq; the Deputy Minister escaped unharmed. No claim of responsibility was reported.
