Incident Summary:

01/27/2007: At least fifteen people were killed and 55 others were wounded as twin car bombs exploded near a busy market and movie theater in eastern Baghdad, Iraq. Shi’a men and women were the target of the attack. The second bomb detonated nearby just as many were helping the victims of the first bomb. Although no group has claimed responsibility for the attack, al-Qaida is believed to behind the attack.
