Incident Summary:

04/26/2007: Two suicide bombers attacked the office of Massoud Barzani, the Kurdistan Democratic Party leader in city of Zumar in Ninawa province, Iraq. Three bodyguards were killed and five others were injured in the attack that may have been worse if guards had not opened fire on the two attackers, forcing them to detonate their explosives at least 50 yards from the office. No claim of responsibility was reported.
