Incident Summary:

06/13/2007: Ten Lebanese civilians, including Walid Eido, a Lebanese member of parliament and critic of Syria, were killed, 11 others were wounded, and several vehicles and buildings were damaged when a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device (VBIED) planted by an unknown number of unknown perpetrators detonated adjacent to him in the late afternoon outside the Sporting Club in Beirut, Beirut, Beirut Governorate, Iraq. No claim of responsibility was reported.
