Incident Summary:

09/23/2007: A policeman, Shanker Singh, and three others were killed when Naxalites attacked Amas and Barachatti police stations in the Gaya (District) of Bihar, India. One of the dead was a bus driver, Kameswar Rai, and another was a cleaner. Thirteen trucks and two buses were also destroyed when the rebel group struck out of protest for the arrest of their leader Tushar Kant Bhattacharya, and his aide Brajmohan Ram.
