Incident Summary:

05/16/2008: On Friday early in the morning before dawn, Taliban fighters attacked a district center targeting Afghan security forces after they repelled the Taliban attack in Zabul province, Afghanistan, resulting in the deaths of five Taliban insurgents. No other casualties were reported. Taliban spokesman, Yousuf Ahmadi, claimed responsibility for the incident on behalf of the Taliban.
