Incident Summary:

02/01/2009: On Sunday, unidentified militants opened fire on an ambulance en route to a hospital in the Kabal area of Swat, North West Frontier, Pakistan. Two civilians were killed in the attack. No group has claimed responsibility but it was widely believed that the Taliban was responsible. Both militants and the security forces blamed each other for the incident.
