Incident Summary:

2/22/2009: Members of Al-Qa ida in the Lands of the Islamic Maghreb (AQLIM) attacked the housing compound of security personnel at the Sonelgaz electricity dam near Ziama Mansouriah, Jijel province, Algeria. The assailants fired mortars and detonated bombs at the compound, killing at least nine security guards and injuring another three.
