03/04/2009: On Wednesday night, in Galcaio, Mudug, Somalia Shaykh Ali Abdi Yare, a prominent Ahlu Sunnah Wal Jamee'a Sufi cleric was killed by three masked men after the sunset prayers. No groups have claimed responsibility for the assassination, although it was believed al-Shabaab al-Islamiya was responsible.
