Incident Summary:

06/19/2009: On Friday morning at approximately 1100, in Kandahar, Kandahar, Afghanistan, assailants entered a mosque on the premises of a university, beheading one student and kidnapping one other. The beheaded student was Mohammad Moshtaq, a Kabuli student, and a third year medical student. Mohammad's kidnapped classmate was Abdul Haq. The status of the kidnapped student is unknown. No group claimed responsibility.
