10/07/2010: On Thursday, in the al-Dawassa neighborhood of Mosul, Ninawa, Iraq, unknown gunmen armed with assault rifles fired upon the convoy of Yahya Abed Mahjoub, a member of Ninawa's provincial council. Mahjoub escaped the attack unhurt, but his armored SUV was damaged. No group claimed responsibility.
